OUR BELIEFS

God

We believe that there is but one living and true God everlasting, without body or parts, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness: the maker and preserver of all things, both visible and invisible. And in unity of this God-head, there are three persons of one substance, power and eternity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the creator of the universe who loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son. God is a supernatural being who has always existed. God is the ruler of all creation who also hears and answers prayer. God is perfect in holiness wisdom, power and love.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God while at the same time equal with God. We believe that God loves the world so much that He gave the world His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless human life and was crucified as a perfect sacrifice in exchange for the sins of all of mankind by dying on a cross. He overcame death by rising three days latter demonstrating his power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and we await his return back to earth.

Holy Spirit

We believe that The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity and is equal with God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. The Holy Spirit loves in every believer from the moment of salvation and provides the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance in doing what is right, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts.

Humanity

Humankind was made in the image of God and determined from our creation. We were created to be in perfect relationship with God, however sin has alienated us from this relationship. We are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts or works. For this reason God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so we may be reconciled back to our Father God.

The Trinity

We believe that God exist as one being in three persons: God the Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Although each member of the trinity serves in different functions of the trinity, they each posses equal power and authority.

Salvation

We believe that all of God’s children are created in the image of God, to live in a personal relationship with God. Sin has broken our relationship with God. We are not perfect people, we make mistakes regularly through sin. And the consequence of sin is death. The good news is that God loves the world so much that He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who walked this earth without sin. He was crucified to rescue is from our sins and the consequence of sin to restore our broken relationship with God because of sin. Salvation is given to us freely through God’s grace. Salvation can not be received by works. One must repent of their sin, believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to save the world through his death, burial, and resurrection, and confess with their mouth this belief from their heart.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is and outward expression of an inward reality. We believe that baptism is a public declaration that you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Baptism does not save you, for we are not saved by works, however it does show that you have been saved. Although baptism does not save you, we believe that every believer should get baptized.

The Bible

We believe that The Bible is the infallible word of God for all mankind. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

Eternity

We believe that all mankind will exist forever. We will exist externally with God in Heaven because we have received forgiveness of sins through salvation. Or we will exist eternally in hell separated from God because we have not accepted salvation.
